Industry Case Study Paper
For implemented solutions, pilot projects, and field evaluations with evidence and lessons to share. A new algorithm is not required; the contribution may lie in rigorous evaluation, implementation insights, or practical findings that advance understanding.
What to include
- Context and problem: the operational setting, objectives, and constraints.
- Approach and implementation: the solution, process, and rationale.
- Evaluation and results: relevant data, performance measures, and a suitable comparison.
- Limitations and lessons: challenges, unsuccessful outcomes, and factors affecting results.
- Transferability: what others can learn and the conditions for applying it.
How it is assessed
Technical soundness, quality of evidence, practical significance, and clarity of the lessons learned. The case-study format does not lower the standard of review.
University-based authors may submit a case study, and company-based authors may submit a Research Paper. Choose by the contribution, not by your employer.
ABSTRACT · PRESENTATION ONLY
Industry Use Case Presentation
For industrial applications, demonstrations, prototypes, and emerging solutions. A full manuscript is not required.
Your abstract should explain
- The industrial problem and intended users.
- The proposed or implemented solution.
- Its current stage: concept, prototype, pilot, or operational deployment.
- Available findings, expected benefits, and remaining challenges.
- The main insights participants will gain.
Clearly distinguish expected benefits from measured results. Abstracts are assessed for relevance, technical substance, clarity, and value to participants. These contributions are presentation-only and are not included as full papers in the proceedings.
Presentation and publication
Contributions may be presented with research papers in the relevant track or grouped into an industry session, depending on accepted submissions. Publication arrangements for case study papers will be announced separately.
Disclosure and permissions
Authors must have permission to disclose submitted material. Company names and sensitive information may be anonymized, provided enough detail remains for meaningful assessment. Product promotion or sales material alone is outside the scope of this call.
